چکیده
One of the most widely used Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in the field of catalysis is the copper-containing metal-organic framework [1]. Very recently, different types of Cu-MOFs have been used as heterogeneous catalysts for various organic transformations such as cyanosilylation of benzaldehyde and acetone [2], aerobic homocoupling of arylboronic acids [3], quinoline synthesis [4] and oxidation reaction [5]. These methods are effective and generally have a heterogeneous nature; however, most of the Cu-MOF catalyzed reactions suffer from a significant amount of metal leaching, because of its low stability of framework and consequently limits their widespread use as a catalyst in various reactions. Thus, concerning the advantages and disadvantages mentioned for the catalytic behavior of Cu-MOF and green chemistry principles, in this work, Cu-MOF is chemically attached to carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and CMC/Cu-MOF was produced and characterized by a variety of techniques, including FTIR, XRD, TGA, SEM, TEM, EDS, and ICP-OES analyses. This novel hybrid material is introduced as an efficient, environmentally benign, and reusable heterogeneous catalyst for aerobic oxidation of alcohols to the corresponding carbonyl compounds under mild conditions (Scheme 1). This catalytic system overcomes the essential defects of copper terephthalate metal-organic frameworks as a catalyst, such as poisoning, deactivation, and non-reusability nature [5].کليدواژه ها
