چکیده
Low performance and unavailability of raw materials are two of the main problems of Iran in producing many catalysts in gasoline production. The fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) is an important refining process used for conversion of the high-boiling and high-molecular weight fractions of the petroleum to more valuable fuels such as gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), olefinic gases and some other products. Furthermore, FCC is one of the largest applications of heterogeneous catalysts in industry. In this study, samples of catalyst was synthesized according to sol-gel method. X g (dry based) REY Zeolite (X=400, 450, 500, 550, 600 g) was dispersed in 1.6L water to form slurry in a tank, to which 28g magnesium lignin sulfonate, 1.5 L water, 23g ZSM-5 zeolite, 440g alumina sol were added successively under stirring. Then 50 ml commercially available HCl was added and homogenized for 1 hour using high shear emulsifying mixer. The slurry was spray-dried to form microspheres using a small laboratory spray dryer. After calcination at 400℃ for 20 minutes, the catalytic cracking catalyst for heavy oil cracking was obtained. According to the obtained results in this study, by increasing zeolite content as active component of catalyst the activity of catalyst will be increased accordingly and caused the higher gasoline product yield up to optimized contents (40 wt. %) and increasing more than optimized contents, in spite of increasing on catalyst activity due to over cracking will cause decreasing on gasoline yield but increasing coke factor and gas factor.کليدواژه ها
