چکیده
Industrial wastewater is heavily charged with organic and inorganic chemical pollutants. Therefore, discharge of untreated industrial wastewater into aquatic ecosystem due to its toxic to the aquatic life and damaging to the aesthetic nature of the environment poses severe problems[1]. Since, it is essential to develop the effective wastewater treatment methods to protect the ecosystem. Conventional methods such as adsorption and coagulation processes just transfer organic compounds from wastewater to another phase, thus causing secondary pollution [2]. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are very efficient methods for treatment of industrial effluents. They act through the development and usage of reactive radicals [3]. These radicals are able to oxidize chemical pollutants. In this work, the ability of photocatalytic ozonation process as an effective AOP was investigated in the presence of N-TiO2/MoS2/Ti in the treatment of Nazarabad industrial zone wastewater. Accordingly, two-dimensional nano-layers of MoS2 were synthesized by hydrothermal method [2] and simultaneously, nitrogen doped TiO2 was prepared. Electrophoretic deposition method was used for simultaneous immobilization of MoS2 and N-TiO2 on the surface of Ti grid sheet [3]. The N-TiO2/MoS2/Ti was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The diffraction peaks of the prepared sample through the XRD pattern are attributed to the MoS2 and anatase phase TiO2. The SEM image of the prepared film shows continuous and uniform immobilization of MoS2 and TiO2 on the surface of Ti grid sheet. The EDX analysis indicates the presence of N, Mo, S, Ti and O in the TiO2/MoS2/Ti grid sheet. The prepared catalyst was used in treatment of Nazarabad industrial zone wastewater by photocatalytic ozonation process. The obtained results show that this process has the ability to reduce the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of the wastewater about 65%.کليدواژه ها
